House-moves launched in 2013 by Mother and Daughter Christine and Joanna following extensive knowledge and experience in the property sales market.

Since our launch date we have had a very successful few years enabling us to expand, as a result in 2014 we welcomed Michelle and Peter to the team.

Michelle brings over 10 years property sales knowledge and experience to further strengthen our service to customers.

Due to our continued growth we have now expanded our team to four with the introduction of Pete, who brings with him a wealth of Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and a keen eye for detail.

Between us we can manage your property sale from start to finish ALL kept in house, giving you the reassurance you will always receive the House-moves highest quality of service.  From your initial valuation, floor plan, EPC, high quality photography through to the sales negotiation & sales progression.

Meet the Team

Christine Mathers

Managing Director

Christine launched House-Moves in 2013 with daughter Joanna following a strong 10 year career within the property selling industry working for the top selling Gloucestershire corporate agent. This enabled Christine to establish a strong loyal client base and excel as a property expert. She prides herself on her local knowledge, property expertise, selling and negotiation skills. She saw a gap in the market for a more personal service and decided to put her experience to good use.

Christine has lived in Cheltenham all her life and brings a wealth of local knowledge to the business. Christine oversees the day to day running of the business and ensures a smooth running of sales with regular liaison with solicitors.

In her spare time Christine enjoys going to motor shows with her husband or spending time with her grandson. She enjoys gardening and hosting parties for friends and family.

Joanna launched House-moves in 2013 with her mother Christine following a career in business management and marketing, she saw a gap in the market for an agent offering a more flexible approach using the latest technology to maximise property exposure. Joanna has excelled in customer service with experience of over 10 years in the industry, she prides herself on buyers and sellers receiving the absolute highest of standards of service. Joanna oversees the smooth running of the office with exceptional organisation skills. Joanna communicates regularly with both buyers and sellers to ensure sales are on track and running smoothly.

In her spare time Joanna enjoys spending time with her son, socialising with friends and keeping active at the gym.

Michelle joined House-Moves in 2014 following a successful 10 year career in property sales for one of Gloucestershires top selling corporate agents. She excels in customer service and communication. Michelle brings her excellence in negotiation skills to the business, exceeding expectations for hundreds of clients over the years. Michelle enjoys meeting people from all walks of life out on the viewings, negotiating sales and seeing it through to completion having built up many established relationships with local conveyancers, and financial personnel helping to push the sales through quickly and efficiently. Michelle thoroughly enjoys her job and this comes across in her enthusiasm and positivity to everyone she meets.

In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and her two sons, she is a keen baker and often brings in her baking delights to the office.

Peter joined House-Moves in 2015 following a long successful career in a Sales & Technical role within Customer Services for a British multinational business. He has an excellent eye for detail, and prides himself on his perfectionism. Peter is passionate to achieve the best photography and floorplans which are essential for online marketing, creating bespoke catalogues for our clients maximising each properties online presence. Peter has a wealth of local knowledge and brings to the business excellence in customer service. Peter is also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor enabling us to keep all our marketing in house so you always know who is working for you to give you peace of mind when selling your home.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage son. He enjoys long walks with his Labrador Holly, you will often find him on Leckhampton Hill.
